Interested in architecture or urbanism? Join Foundations, the Binghamton University Society of Architecture! Students from across the university are participating in this new group, which has already joined with PAST (the Preservation Association of the Southern Tier) for students to offer tours of local historic sites and hosted a presentation by Syracuse-based Ashley McGraw Architects to speak about their renovation of the MacArthur Elementary School in Binghamton, which will be the first carbon-neutral elementary school in New York.

Whether you’re the world’s next Frank Lloyd Wright or just have an interest in the built world–locally and globally–Foundations is the group for you!

Foundations will meet on Monday, April 8 at 6:30 in FA 341. To stay up-to-date on the group’s activities, you can like Foundations on Facebook.
