This Friday, February 21, Associate Professor and Chair Tom McDonough will deliver the keynote address at “Interiors and Exteriors: Avant-Garde Itineraries in Postwar France,” a colloquium at the University of Chicago’s Smart Museum of Art. The colloquium, which brings together French and American scholars of emerging and enduring avant-garde movements in post-World War II Paris, is held in conjunction with an exhibition at the Smart Museum and an accompanying film and events series.
