Faculty Activities: Karen Barzman at CAA

Associate Professor Karen-edis Barzman will chair two panels at the annual conference of the College Art Association in New York in mid-February:  “Spatial Histories of the Early Modern Italian City:  Social Configurations of Time and Space” and “Comparative Spatial Histories of the Early Modern City:  A Trans-Regional Study.”  Both are organized on behalf of the CAA-affiliated Renaissance Society of America.  She will also participate in the pre-conference Getty-sponsored program, “International Issues in Art History,” a one-day colloquium that brings together North-American-based members of CAA and scholars from around the world to discuss the state of the field and shared interests and challenges.
