The Department of Art and Design at Binghamton University will host the second annual Open Studio Night on May 12 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Studios and classrooms on all three floors of the Fine Arts Building will be open and filled with great student work and designs in the areas of Drawing, Painting, Sculpture, Graphic Design, Printmaking and Photography. We are showcasing our students’ accomplishments, our facilities and program diversity. The program starts at 5:00 p.m. with demos in the Digital Media Center, followed by The Student Awards Ceremony at 6:00 p.m. in the Grand Corridor, reception for the Seniors Exhibition in the Rosefsky Gallery, short film projections, technique demos, jazz performance, Table Tennis tournament and lots of great art.

The World of UV Inkjet Printing demo will explore the versatility of UV inkjet printing and wide format printing. From Glass prints, fabric prints, and digital glass negatives, there are many new ways to think about inkjet printing
Lasers and Vectors demo examines possibilities of laser cutter. Different materials and techniques are introduced in production of designs and prototypes
