Faculty Workshop: Bringing digital scholarship into the classroom

Qingbai Bowl-ThingLinkAnyone with an interest is invited to participate in the first of a series of digital scholarship workshops in the Libraries. The first session focuses on ThingLink and Scalar.

ThingLink provides the ability to annotate digital images with weblink, videos and other images. And Scalar, a multimedia publishing platform, is ideal for dynamic online collaborative projects. Both interfaces are relatively easy to learn and are already in use by campus instructors for class assignments and projects.

This workshop takes place from noon-1:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, in the Zurack Collaboration Center in Bartle Library (Newcomb Reading Room).

Lunch will be provided to participants who register by Monday, Jan. 30 to Kristen Gallant at kgallant@binghamton.edu.
